During the 9th Training Sessions of EWP

The Empower Pengal Program conducted its 9th EWP training sessions in all the districts of the Northern Province on months of August and September, 2025, with a focus on strengthening women entrepreneurs through practical knowledge in productivity, quality improvement, and workplace safety.

🎯 Key learning objectives included:
✅ Understand productivity and methods to measure it appropriately
✅ Gain knowledge on product quality and customer satisfaction
✅ Understand the basic principles and practices of the 5S methods
✅ Skills to improve workplace cleanliness, orderliness, and safety
✅ First aid methods to be provided in emergency situations such as burns

The initiative is implemented by Lanka Impact Investing Network - LIIN together with WUSC Sri Lanka, and is powered by the Government of Canada’s Global Affairs Canada(GAC).

By strengthening business practices and workplace safety, this program continues to provide valuable tools for entrepreneurs in the Northern Province, supporting long-term growth and resilience.
