🌿 Ayurvedic Cosmetic Business Guide – Skill Development Training for the Beauty & Healthcare Sector 🌟

During the Beauty & Healthcare-sector Training Session of the Empower Pengal

As part of our Empower Pengal program, we successfully conducted a sector-wise training session in Jaffna on August 13, 2025, bringing together beauty and healthcare sector entrepreneurs from all 5 districts of the Northern Province.

This training focused on strengthening entrepreneurship in the Ayurvedic cosmetics field while equipping participants with the knowledge to grow sustainable enterprises.

🎯 Objectives of the training:
✅ Strengthening knowledge and market insights on Ayurvedic cosmetics
✅ Introducing raw material selection and purchasing methods
✅ Guidance on production processes and necessary equipment
✅ Providing awareness regarding business registration and government approval processes
✅ Explaining the procedures for obtaining a laboratory test certificate

This initiative is implemented by Lanka Impact Investing Network - LIIN, in collaboration with WUSC Sri Lanka (World University Service of Canada), and powered by the Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada (GAC). It establishes a strong foundation for women and emerging entrepreneurs in the Northern Province.
